Thomas Devick – Nicaragua

Nica7Project is the dream of founder Thomas Devick who is planting his dream in the nation of Nicaragua. Here is his dream.

Welcome to Nica7Project

“Tikkun Olam!” That’s Hebrew for: “To Repair & Heal Our World.” With joy, we share this vision with you.

A Dream Come True: Building self-sustaining, eco-friend, family run, community led frams.

A simple concept: Building relationships based on honoring one another in a spirit of excellence (honoring our children & parents, our sisters & brothers, our plants & animals, and our resources: land, water & air)…by honoring the One, Jesus Christ, who makes this ALL possible. “When we receive honor, it’s easier for us to give honor.” TPD

Self-Sustaining: Everyone pitches in and does their part. We all plant seeds—they multiply—we all share the harvest—and have fun doing it. This is something we do together!

We care for animals—they multiply. We build homes—families multiply. We create an abundance. We share what we create, live on what we need, sell the rest to raise support for ourselves and others.

Eco-friendly: We build our roads and homes (walkways, hiking paths, home floors, walls and even roofs) from the dirt in and around our homes (using bio-friend enzymes, CEB bricks, wood, and bamboo grown on the farm). WE create, manage, and produce our own food, utilities (electricity), water, schools, trades, and businesses* that bring blessing, prosperity, health and healing to our world.  “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, that will be poured into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)

What is not stated above, is that we will be building a leadership team that will be involved in promoting a radical revivalist prayer life, a strong emphasis on intentional discipleship, many works of Justice/Mercy/outreach/prophetic evangelism, and deep intimate fellowship.
