Brecken Heft is a full-time missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Tijuana, Mexico. She serves with their community center, Hope Zone, that reaches the community living around the red light district of Tijuana. Hope Zone has a focus on prevention to see children and whole families understand their value in the eyes of God. The heart of Hope Zone is to disciple and walk alongside these families to see them transformed in the areas of faith, education, and business as missions. Brecken serves in many capacities within Hope Zone. She also serves with Homes of Hope to build houses for families in need.
